Volunteers are an essential part of Open Lodge.  There are many opportunities to serve for Open Lodge from baking to driving.  Every volunteer is an important partner in this ministry.  If you feel the Spirit nudging your heart toward Open Lodge continue reading to see how you can serve.

• Open Lodge volunteer--this group comes to Open Lodge and spends time building relationships with kids, playing games, and showing the love of Christ.  Open Lodge happens, Monday, 4:30-6:00 for elementary kids, Tuesday and Thursday, 3:30-6:30 for Middle and High school kids.  Time per month--3 hours.
• Drivers--this group drives the vans to pick-up and bring home kids.  To pick kids up you would need to be free for about 30 minutes from 3:30-4:00, and to bring kids home you would need to be free from 6:30-7:00 Tuesday or Thursday.  Time per month--30 minutes.
• Prayer Warrior--this group of people pray for the staff, volunteers, and kids from The Lodge.  Each of them have pictures of kids that they pray for every day.  They also receive updates and prayer request every week or so.  Time per month--4 hours
• Bakers--this group bring goodies to The Lodge once or twice a month.  It can be home made or boughter goodies the kids don't care, they just love it that someone cares enough to bring goodies for them.  Time per month--2 hours
