Influences: There have been a lot of people that have influenced my life here are a few: Jesus, my Family (especially Monica), Toby Gruppen, Shane Claiborne, Jeff Vanderselt & other writers.

Epic Moments: Each day we are given the opportunity to make the most of, here are some the greatest days/times so far in my life going to Alaska 2 times on Mission trips, going to Russia on a mission trip for 3 weeks, getting married, birth of my 3 children, & shooting deer (especially big ones and ones on video).

Favorite band/music: I love background noise so I just about always have something playing, here are bands you will hear frequently being played: David Crowder, Daughtry, Hootie and the Blowfish, U2, Nickleback, Charlie Hall, Chris Tomlin, Passion….

Favorite books/authors: The older I get the more I’ve read, I used to hate reading, now I love it. The other day I had a realization that I just need to stick with books and authors I like because books stating the obvious or have no point are a waste of time, I want something that is going to challenge me to live my life differently these do that for me: Erwin McManus, Donald Miller, Shane Claiborne, Eugene Peterson, Brennan Manning, Rob Bell.

Favorite movie: Rudy, Freedom Writers, Good Will Hunting, Xtreme Whitetails 3,4, & soon to be 5 (because I’m in them!!!), The Pursuit of Happiness, Breach

Favorite food: There are few foods that I don’t like, nice to have a high metabolism, at the top of the list are: Seafood, Steak, Mexican, Cheesecake

Spare time: I love to spend time with Monica and my 3 wonderful kids (Isaac, Acacia, Selah), I also love to go camping, watch movies, be outdoors, read & hunt.

Fear factors: Fear I don’t know what that is, oh wait SNAKES & the wrath on Monica (JK) scare me.

Motivation: To impact others and continually be bringing the Kingdom here, life is a journey live it up!!

Dream yet to come true: A dream for ministry and life is to really impact our neighborhood and have it be a place where kids can come to feel safe and loved (by us & God). I would also love someday to kill a buck that is 170+ inches.
