Influence: I've been blessed with many great influences such as my parents and my husbands parents, but most recently my greatest mentor is someone I've gotten to know well over the last couple years and has become a great friend. She continues to show Jesus' love by example in all she does.Epic Moments: I guess they're the typical ones but they are simply the biggest and most special moments in my lifetime. Getting married to my husband, Bill and giving birth to my 4 children. Playing piano in Northrup Auditorium in Minnesota in front of thousands of people was also pretty cool. That was many moons ago of course.Favorite Band: I enjoy many types of music and bands - I just can never remember who sings what.Favorite Books/Authors: I've read so many great books that have kept me up until the wee hours of the morning. There's just too many to list here and quite honestly I have a hard time remembering all their names and what book goes with who. I love hearing what others have read and found to be good and often use that as my guideline for getting books from the library. Gotta love the library!Favorite Movie: Any movie that can tap into my emotions - a good cry, laughing 'til my gut hurts - you get the idea.Favorite Food: I'd have to say my homemade pizza. Just wish I didn't have to make it all the time!Spare Time: Is there such a thing? When I have time I crochet, knit, read, play piano, make Ukranian eggs, scrapbook, make cards, do needlework, sew, mess around on the computer and so on.... just not at the same time. Can you tell I like variety?Fear Factors: Snakes & spiders. EEEEEK! But mostly I don't like looking down from high places or anyone else standing too close to an edge high up. I get panicked that they (or myself) will fall over the edge.Motivation: I am not very good at being self-motivated, but who really is? I believe we are driven by the Holy Spirit who motivates us to do what we were designed by God to do.
Dream Yet to Come True: Go on a mission trip to another country, visit my husband's relatives in Germany, and see a cure for Alzheimers/Dementia. I'm dealing with too many loved ones going through this terrible disease.
