Influence: Many people have influenced me along the way. First and foremost my Lord then Dan Gritter and Paul Bakker as they taught me how to be a leader, Mary Boss for her great friendship and sharing of mutual gifts, Joyce Meyer for following the Lords plan for her life and being willing to share it with anyone who will listen, Ross Graveling and Matt Lehr for living out their faith in their community, Daniel Maat for his quiet leadership. My brother, who by giving his life for another, showed me what true love and heroism is.

Epic Moments: My calling into ministry, my time at Youth for Christ and The Bridge Youth Ministry Center, being a cancer survivor, my trip to Israel with RVL, riding 183 miles in 2 days on my bike, losing my husband, being offered my job here at Calvary, but most of all giving my whole life over to the Lord.

Favorite Food: Turkey with all the fixins’, Jets Pizza, Campfire Chicken @ Crazy Horse, Louisiana Steak @ O’Charley’s

Spare Time: Spare time what is that? When I do have time I love spending time with grandkids, riding bike, reading, prayer walking

Fear Factors: Snakes, my cancer returning

Motivation: Seeing kids that I work with make good decisions in their lives, hearing we love Open Lodge, having one of the kids say thank you, ultimately watching those kids make changes in their lives that really make a difference and giving their lives over to Christ.

Dream yet to come true: Would love to travel back to Israel and really take the time to soak it all in, a trip to Haiti, taking a trip all around Michigan to all the lighthouses, riding my bike for a week through Michigan.
