During the month of November, Calvary focuses specifically on Haiti by promoting an organization or an issue that Haiti struggles with. Every Sunday in November, there are speakers or videos as well as visual highlights that reflect what the focus is. The purpose of this effort is for the congregation to learn and be inspired to bring about change by giving of their finances.

What would Jesus want for His birthday is a theme through out this time period and in December, we have a “Christmas Offering” which allows the congregation to bring whatever they feel led to give.

100% of what is given goes to an organization(s) that Calvary partners with. This allows the congregation to give resources to an effort that is bigger than what we have made Christmas about which focuses on consumerism and buying things for ourselves rather than the birth of Jesus Christ and helping those that live in poverty.

During the year, the congregation gets progress reports on how the monies were used and what the impact was on the Haitian people. Mission trips that go to Haiti are able to see where and how the funds were given whenever possible.
